To visit the STATUE OF LIBERTY, you have two options: one through Staten Island Ferry which is free and crosses near the island letting you take pictures; you just have to try to locate in a good position in the outer aisles of the ferry and have your camera by hand. Leaves every half hour from a port situated very close to the official pier of the island. The second option is to buy the ticket at the pier, but the lines are huge, it is best to buy them in advance and online, http://www.statuecruises.com/ On the official supplier three options are displayed:
1. Battery Park is a park of 10 hectares, is situated at the southern tip of New York City in Lower Manhattan, in front of the harbor. The name comes from the fact of having been the place where the Dutch and British were establishing their artillery batteries in order to protect the port. Along the coast, are the springs of where the ferries depart with destination to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. There is also a stop at the New York Water Taxi, between the Statue of Liberty and the Ferry. Northwest is the suburb of Battery Park City, a planned community built between 1970 and 1980. Along with the Hudson River Park, a system of bikeways and walkways extend to the shore of the Hudson River. The island is a national monument and is open to all tourists between May and October, Passengers ride free on Saturdays and Sundays until 11:30am, taking the ferry at the Maritime Building in Manhattan, or at the Fulton Ferry landing in Brooklyn, is a very short journey offerring fantastic views of Manhattan, Brooklyn, New Jersey ... When you arrive you will see a children's playground, sports fields and open spaces to relax, free of cars, you can explore the island by bicycle, by tram, free kayaking, or walking 2 miles around the island, there are also picnic areas. On the Island you may appreciate a picturesque town with colonial homes and giant trees.
You can take a tour to the Castle Williams, keep in mind that each tour is limited to 15 people, every half hour. first come, first serve; this visit is workig and you can get fantastic views from the top. The island is also used as headquarters for summer festivals.

Federal Hall is located on Wall Street in New York City, was the first United States Capitol and place of inauguration of George Washington, the current building is a reconstruction, where Washington was named the first US president, inside there is a small museum that tells the history of the building, the most interesting facts, the Bible used in the inauguration of the President. Outside the building of Federal Hall stands the majestic statue of Washington, the main hall with marble columns and the beautiful vaulted ceiling is a monument.
