As the name implies, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is a museum dedicated to the sea, air and space, Located on the 86st pier, on the shore of the Hudson River, it is the opportunity to visit an aircraft carrier, a submarine and a Concorde. In the tour of the ship you may pass through 4 decks, going from the bridge to the bedrooms. On the flight deck, you would see more than a dozen planes and helicopters from different eras, including the A-12 spy plane Blackbird, the F-14 Tomcat and the AV-8A Harrier. Down, inside the Hangar, there is the museum, where you can see original objects, models and multimedia material.
It has guided tour through the intrepid world, audio tours, simulators and souvenir photos, where visitors have the opportunity to take a souvenir of the best career sites.
There are several types of tours, they have a cost depending on the area you want to visit and age range, capacity between 8 and 20 visitors with area, requires climbing stairs and includes long periods of walking.
