The New York Botanical Garden (New York Botanical Garden) located in the Bronx, was one of the first gardens of its kind in America. It is a museum of plants, an educational institution, and scientific research organization. Founded in 1891 it has become a national historical monument, one of the largest botanical gardens in the world and the largest in the United States. Renowned for the beauty and diversity of its landscapes, as well as for the excellence of its education, science and horticulture.
With an area of one square kilometer, is home to 48 different gardens. In which you can appreciate plants, waterfalls and ponds where carried out samples of aquatic plants.

Among the most visited collections they are: the greenhouse wrought iron style of Crystal Palace (dating from 1890), the rose garden, Japanese garden gravel, shop and orchid collection.
