The New York Botanical Garden (New York Botanical Garden) located in the Bronx, was one of the first gardens of its kind in America. It is a museum of plants, an educational institution, and scientific research organization. Founded in 1891 it has become a national historical monument, one of the largest botanical gardens in the world and the largest in the United States.
