The Bronx is one of the five boroughs of New York. It’s separated from Manhattan by the Harlem River and is the only one of five that is not on an island. As for culture, we can say that is the birthplace of rap and hip hop, jazz evolved. Its population is multicultural so is said that more than 70 different languages are spoken, although English and Spanish prevail over the rest.
This district also has attractions that may be of interest, one of which is the Bronx Zoo, one of the largest zoos in the United States, instead of cages, animals are separated by moats and natural elements.
A big attraction is the Yankee Stadium, built in 1923 and renovated in 1976, the home of this team.
We also have the New York Botanical Garden, a paradise for gardening lovers, with state's largest botanical garden, also includes three of the largest parks in New York, the "Pelham Bay", the "Van Cortlandt Park" and the "1520 Sedgwick Avenue".
In the Bronx there are some neighborhoods is an unusual City Island, which is more like a fishing village New England to New York City neighborhood. Here the cuisine of seafood is vast and practically a local secret, but just walk the streets to find out.
Another notable visit is the Hall of Fame of Distinguished Americans, from which you have a very good view of Harlem and Fort Tryon Park in northern Manhattan. Remember that a sure way to give a deeper look at the Bronx, is making a neighborhood tour with connoisseurs.
