Herald Square

Herald Square is formed by the intersection of Broadway avenues, Sixth and 34th Street in Manhattan. The name of a famous newspaper provine New York Herald, which is out of print. The intersection is one block consisting of two sections Square Herald, Square, north and south Greeley Square. Herald Square is where the Macy's parade featuring Thanksgiving Day broadcast nationally by NBC ends each year. In Herald Square is a huge mechanical watch whose mechanical structures was built in 1895. The monument, consisting of the goddess of wisdom, Minerva, with owls in front of a bell, protected by two ringers. The bell of the monument was designed to beep every hour. Since 1992, Greeley Square and Herald Square provide health and security services, also maintains a program of horticulture and gardening, Today these areas are off to the thousands of shoppers flood the neighborhood are a dining room for the thousands of workers at the center of this area office, and as a stage for product launches, musical performances, and photo shoots and movies.
