he Hall of Science is one of the few structures that survived the World Fair in New York in 1964 at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, is the only interactive science center with more than 400 devices that explore the field of biology, chemistry and physics, where children and teenagers can see two NASA rockets on display in the gardens outside the museum, one of them is a titan and the other an Atlas were the attraction of the 1964 World's Fair. You should arrive early, especially during school vacation weeks. To get there take the 7 train to the stop 111 and walk three blocks south to Roosevelt Avenue. Bus - Stop the Q23 and Q58 Corona Avenue and 108th Street. The P48 stops at 111th Street and Roosevelt Avenue

It is a museum dedicated to American folk art and self-taught artists, is next to a big museum like the MOMA, that it doesn’t opaque, if it looks small from the outside, it has 5 floors. If you like folklore, worth a visit, you can make the tour in two hours, works by self-taught artists creating quilts, portraits, sculptures, photographs, you will be amazed at what can be created with the humblest materials.
It encourages groups of adults self-guided to explore the museum as individual visitors; note that external teachers are not allowed.
Our Advice:
There is no charge for self-guided groups, but reservations for groups of more than 10 people is required, with a maximum of 30 participants, reserving at least 4 weeks before the visit.
The Museum offers free guides families to use together galleries, ask at reception and a free copy and pencil to use. If you want to draw by yourself, only pencils are allowed in the galleries.
Baby strollers are allowed in all the galleries of museums. Alternatively, you can choose to take a carrier, and getting strollers to store in wardrobe area or adjacent to the locker room area. Backpacks and larger bags should be left at the box office of the museum.
There is a coffee shop on the second floor and bathrooms for those who can not climb stairs.

In order to give recognition to all these heroes dressed in red, Fire Museum of New York was created. Housed in a former fire station dating from 1904, it is visited by more than 40,000 people annually. Retired firefighters are responsible for providing guided tours, telling their experiences helped by the impressive collection.

The New York Transit Museum located in an old station is one of the leading institutions of its kind in the world and the largest museum in the United States dedicated to urban public transportation history; shows historical artifacts of the New York City Subway, bus, commuter rail, bridge and tunnel systems. The Jewish Children's Museum is the largest of its kind in the United States, explores Jewish history and heritage in a stimulating and interactive environment through exhibitions festivals, biblical history, the land of Israel, contemporary Jewish life among many others. The CMA is similar to an art studio focused on children.
