The International Children's Film Festival presents over four weekends new inspiring, passionate films that invite families to travel the world and expand their horizons from the comfort of a local theater. Enjoy the best of the festival where the mission is to promote films aimed at children and young people between the ages of 3-18 years. Since its launch, the event has grown to become the largest festival for children and adolescents in North America, with an audience of more than 25,000 attendees at the most recent event.

In the Jacob K. Convention Center Expo Wine Fair takes place, is an exhibition dedicated to wine and food, including participation in specialized seminars and wine tasting a variety of wine products. The sample comprised 760 wine brands worldwide in 190 wineries.

At the fair they are invited, bars, restaurants, taverns, hotels, wine distributors, supermarkets, specialty shops, wineries, liquor stores and of course wine lovers.

With the slogan "Today we are all Irish", comes one of the most popular celebrations of New York City. People dress in green everywhere, the imposing St. Patrick parade is to celebrate the patron saint of the Irish.  More than 250,000 people are part of the parade that runs along Fifth Avenue from 44th Street to 79th passing the emblematic Saint Patrick’s Cathedral.  Close to two million spectators attended the parade, it is held on March 17 from 11 am until 4 pm. 


The parade is heading it by the Third Infantry Regiment in the U.S., followed by musical bands, pipers and academic groups within the American Union and Irish groups. 


The celebration starts with a group of nostalgic military and Irish immigrants who were part of the British army in the North American colonial territory. 


The event represents an opportunity to speak Gaelic, interpret the songs that are typical of the bagpipes and wear green, a symbol of national pride formerly banned in Ireland that represents the idea of independence.

Take the train to get there many streets are closed due to the parade.

In New York City it is held every year a track meet where participants measure their strength for the official marathon that takes place in November in the same city. MIDDLE KILLED, is exciting for the number of participants, about 15,000 crosses the finish line in the early years was performed at different times, but it was made official in the month of March. Half Marathon takes place in the Central Park- a complete circuit including museums, monuments, and the hills of Harlem through Midtown, including Times Square and 42nd Street, until the financial district, ending near South Street Seaport.

The first 11 kilometers are difficult because of the topography of rising, falling and constant changes of pace, people at all times supports them with cheers and posters participants, who are all over the world for fame that gives participate at.

Our advice:

Dare to compete, there is a prize pool totaling $ 100,000 to be distributed among the first 12 men and the first 8 women to reach the goal. This offered by the company sponsoring the event.

The goal, organizers offers food and beverages corridors necessary for good hydration including up smoothies.   

The route is approximately 13 miles, within 3 hours and if the participant is unable to keep pace, is collected and transported to the end.

You will also enjoy the sights of the beautiful crafts, seeds, fruits and vegetables as if we were in an Asian market.

Macys is located between 34 and 35 on sixth avenue. to get to this spectacular shop is very easy, most of the train lines stop at 34th Street, you can also go to Pen Station taking either the 1, 2 and 3.

In this parade that goes without bands or music, the hat has a very important role where tourists can appreciate the original creation and artistic work of his designs, is called is Easter Parade or Capo.
