Manhattan is full of green spaces to breathe fresh air, walk, play sports, and enjoy summer concerts at the following parks:

Central Park: These are some of the most popular places where concerts are held at this landmark.

• Rumsey Playfield: Located on the east side of the park, its home of the Summerstage (Click here for dates) Good Morning America concerts (Click here for dates).
• Naumburg Bandshell: Located in the middle of the park. It brings classical music  Click here to check times and dates.
• Family Performance Festival: It takes place at Central Park near103rd - 106th West, this is an event to enjoy with the family. Check schedule by clicking here. 

East River Park: Located in Manhattan's Lower East Side. It extends along the East River from Montgomery Street to 12th Street.  August offers five events click here for schedule  

Hudson River Park: It is a park located by the Hudson River, from 59th Street to the south side of Battery Park. During August this park offers 10 events, click here for the schedule. 

Battery Park: Located in Lower Manhattan, This summer Battery Park offers five activities, click here for the schedule. 

Our advice:

Most of these concert are outdoors try to arrive early; if you go during the day wear sunscreen and remember alcoholic beverages, glass containers, and pets are prohibited at these events.
