It is an annual winter festival, to encourage New Yorkers to go out and enjoy the outdoors in the colder months, and tourists who want to enjoy the snow. In this festival participants (especially children) have the opportunity to use skis and snowboards in fresh snow within the city limits, during the event attendees learn to ride ski and use the snowboard. Even dogs have their own assigned area.

Our Advice:

●      In this area you will find: Snowfield, snowshoeing, open space for skiers and snowboarders, ice climbing.

●      It is recommended to bring your own equipment, although some equipment will be supplied at no cost to the participants.

●      All participants must sign an agreement before doing any of these activities.

●      Participants under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian present with an ID.

●      Waiting lines for activities are subject to close early.

Subway NO Pants

The No Pants Subway Ride.

Since 10 years ago, the New York subway lines return to transport travelers without pants. About 4 thousand people joined this unique flashmob that was replicated in 59 cities, in 27 countries around the world, according to Improve Everywhere, an association that is responsible for commanding these urban interventions. Those who boarded the train in New York City the day of NO Pants on trains; they found themselves with tremendous spectacle: boys and girls walking without pants through the station like nothing. Many of them with a great sense of humor took to the streets without pants, covered only with coats and scarves, to celebrate the day of not wearing pants (No Pant’s Day). This celebration, which began in 2002 as a joke, is already a tradition that has spread to other cities around the world. Participants behave as if they do not know each other, and they all wear winter coats, hats, scarves and gloves. The only unusual thing is his lack of pants.

In 2006, the New York police arrested 8 citizens for wearing underwear in public. A month after their arrest, the court ruled in their favor because it is not illegal to wear only underwear in public in New York City.

The exhibitors are in the category of sporting goods, equipment, boats, sports yachts. It celebrates the life and achievements of Martin Luther King Jr., an influential American leader of civil rights. He is best known for his campaigns to end racial segregation in public transportation and racial equality in the United States.

Martin Luther King was a celebrated civil rights activist. Between 1950 and 1960, he promoted the idea of the struggle for freedom, justice and the dignity of all nationalities for nonviolent resistance. "Like anybody, I'd like to live a long life, longevity has its place, but I'm not worried about that now, I just want to do God's will." And He let me climb the mountain. But I want you to know tonight that we as a people will come to the Promised Land. "With these words, Dr. King Jr. built a crescendo of his final speech, Of April 1968. The next day, the civil rights leader was shot dead on a balcony of the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee, and is remembered annually with a parade on Fifth Avenue in New York, but there are events throughout the Nation for being a federal holiday.
