The first Sunday of May is celebrated as TD FIVE BORO BIKE TOUR where approximately thirty and two thousand bikers ride through the five boroughs of New York city on a tour of forty miles. With start in Battery Park, crossing bridges, passing in front of monuments and sites that are an icon of The city to finish in Staten Island. This is the largest cycling event in the United States and thanks to the Department of Transport of the city the streets are closed to cars.
