The International Food Festival Ninth Avenue, has become one of the purposes favorite of New Yorkers since its inception in 1973 a week; This festival takes place from 42nd to 57th on Ninth Avenue; more than one million people visit the festival each year, is unique and surprising, entertainment and all kinds of street stalls together, a great place to meet friends for a meal before the show or after the show, drinks or dinner will experience meals from countries such as Poland, Italy, Spain, Greece, Japan and Thailand among others.

Fleet Week or the week of the marine fleets has been celebrated almost every year since 1984, Thousands of sailors, coastguard vessels of the Marines of the United States, and the ships of the Coast guard transport to New York at the end of every May, to commemorate the day of the fallen. The first Sunday of May is celebrated as TD FIVE BORO BIKE TOUR where approximately thirty and two thousand bikers ride through the five boroughs of New York city on a tour of forty miles. With start in Battery Park, crossing bridges, passing in front of monuments and sites that are an icon of The city to finish in Staten Island. This is the largest cycling event in the United States and thanks to the Department of Transport of the city the streets are closed to cars. By security do not allow luggage or bags or backpacks of hydration, only bottled water, and small pouches in the bike, hydration stations are located along the route, the route is for cyclists at almost all levels.
