The National Day Parade Puerto Rico is a cultural and vibrant show which follows a new theme each year, and since 1958 New York celebrates Puerto Rican culture attracts crowds. It is a colorful event with costumes, dancing and music with colorful floats and dancers. All ages are welcome to experience a bit of Puerto Rican culture.
Our advice:
It is recommended to find a good place to see the parade, this may be close to St. Patrick's Cathedral.
The parade can see it on local television networks, if you attend as a spectator use comfortable shoes, begins at 11:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm
An estimated 80,000 people participate in the parade and more than 2 million are spectators along Fifth Avenue.
