 The New York City celebrates gay pride every year, in honor of what many regard as one of the most important events in the history of the rights of gays and lesbians, the Stonewall riots, which began early in the morning on 28 June 1969. Some of the pride events taking place in neighboring districts earlier this month, as Queens and Brooklyn Gay pride Gay pride.

Our advice:

The march begins at noon on the last Sunday in June at 5th Avenue and 36th Street and makes its way to the city at the intersection of Christopher and Greenwich streets.

Thousands of revelers GLBT and friends gather at Pier 54 after Gay Pride Parade Sunday, from 3 pm to 10 pm. It is one of the largest gay celebrations of Manhattan.
