Prospect Park

Prospect Park is a public park, is one of the largest parks in the city, is an oasis located in the heart of Brooklyn, the most populated neighborhood in New York. With around eight million visitors a year, the park borders different neighborhoods and attracts both local and tourists, among its attractions is Long Meadow, a meadow of 35 hectares, one of the largest green spaces in the United States, its huge Lake in 240,000 square meters, the prospect Park Zoo, the Carrousel, created in the year 1910, the ice-skating rink of Wollman, opened in 1961, thanks to a donation, the Camperdown Elm, planted in 1873, outside of these attractions of the park, other activities to be performed are skating, biking, pedal boats, bird watching, basketball, golf, fishing, baseball and of course a good picnic, there are also guided tours for both children and adults.
